Our Background

It began as a dream of Shanda Cochran's to create a salon and spa in the beautiful space her husband's grandfather built in the early 80's. She fell in love with the wooden ceilings, the brick trim and the unique architecture of the space. Only one problem, it needed lots of updating. After months of DIY renovations with family, and many hours of planning and developing the culture of the salon, The Refinery came to fruition. Boasting a large salon area with six salon chairs, three spa suites, and a boutique area, it was established in June 2022.
