FAQ

The Answers You Need

How do I become a guest?

We are honored that you’d like to become a guest at The Refinery! All of our stylists and providers are independent and book their own appointments. You can book directly through each stylist or provider by visiting our Directory Page! We hope our site makes that very easy for you!

What are your hours?

Each of our stylists and providers are independent, therefore they set their own hours and handle their own bookings.

How do I find which stylist is best for me?

We recommend first following our Instagram page @therefinerydalton and seeing if anyone’s work jumps out at you! Or you can simply browse through profiles to see which stylist or provider you are interested in booking with.

How do I book an appointment?

Each stylist and provider has their own method of booking. If you’d like to book with them, simply visit their profile here on our website and use their preferred method (listed in their profile) to reach out contact or book them directly. You may also message them on Instagram to connect with them before booking.

What does "independent stylist or provider" mean?

Our salon and spa is home to independent stylists and providers. This means they own their own and operate their own business and work for themselves! They rent a chair or suite in our salon and spa, and are responsible for managing their own appointments, payments, questions, comments and concerns. The Refinery is simply the place they operate.

How do I call or contact the salon?

You can call the salon at (706) 237-8134 for any general questions you may have. However, we are unable to handle any of our artists' bookings since we don’t have access to their schedules! Also, you can always send us an e-mail to therefinery30721@gmail.com for the fastest response Monday-Friday 9-5.

How do I schedule an event at The Refinery?

If you wish to schedule an event at The Refinery or would like to collaborate with The Refinery to host an event, please complete a contact form and someone will be in touch to discuss.

What is Aluram?

Aluram is the brand of styling products we use in our salon. They are pure, clean and natural hair care products. All products contain a coconut water base and are sulfate, paraben and gluten free. They are also vegan & cruelty free. All Aluram products are color safe. You may research the products further at www.alurambeauty.com.

What if I am not satisfied with The Refinery?

If you are unhappy with your service, please reach out to your stylist or provider directly. We will gladly work with you to find a solution for your concerns.

What if I want to try a different stylist or provider?

We can guarantee that no stylist or provider will be offended if you want to try somebody new. We are very laid back and have no drama or bitterness between the stylists or providers. We all have our specialties and favorite services to perform. It is not uncommon for stylists to refer their guests to other stylists in the salon if it doesn’t feel like a good match. We take no offense and are more concerned about helping you achieve the hair of your dreams!

What type of facial should I book?

We always recommend starting with a beginner's facial, also known as a full facial. This is the "get-to-know-me" facial. This allows our estheticians to evaluate your skin needs and use products meant for your skin type, and develop an individualized treatment plan. This treatment is also great for those needing a relaxation session.
